Our History
How ADR Network Started.
Established 25 years ago in 1997 with a single office. Today, ADR Network has become one of the largest specialist providers of HGV drivers in the UK, with a well-established branch network.
Now part of the Pertemps Group following their acquisition of our business in 2016, we have an unrivalled geographical footprint enabling the supply of professional HGV drivers to all corners of the UK.
Our growth has been achieved through operational excellence and market-leading compliance standards. We work with industry-leading clients such as The Co-op, XPO, DHL, Wincanton, Culina, M&S, Royal Mail, Tesco, Morrisons, Gist, and many more!

Our CEO
Andrew Waldron
I joined ADR Network as Managing Director in 2005. Having previously been an HR Director, and client within the market, I could see an opportunity for a driving agency to become a strategic part of an end users driver strategy, rather than simply providing holiday or short-term cover.
This required a move away from a sales-type culture to one of operational excellence, whereby our reputation would drive our growth. This is still how we operate.
Outside of ADR Network my main commitment, save for my family, is West Bromwich Albion. I say commitment as they deliver very little pleasure.
Meet Our Management Team
Our Senior Management team is highly experienced individuals with established backgrounds in logistics and recruitment, from operational, financial, and human resource disciplines. Our team has grassroots experience within ADR Network, having started their careers in frontline roles, offering an unrivalled collective knowledge of our sector, and a united vision for success.
Group Operations Director
Andrew Rodgers
I joined ADR Network in 2006 coming from a corporate accounting background. My passion is to provide an unrivalled recruitment service to our drivers and clients. Using my previous knowledge of accurate performance management, I am proud of the best-in-class solution we deliver.
Outside of work, I’m a keen runner and when not providing dad’s taxi services, you’ll find me up in the peaks running the local trials.
Development Director
Mark Howitt
I Joined ADR Network in 1997. In those early days, I was involved in every aspect of the business. As we have grown I have been responsible for new business implementations and now I head up our IT and Finance departments. Much has changed in the last 25 years but my passion for keeping us at the top of our industry remains just the same.
Outside of work I have a large family including 3 dogs who do their best to ensure I never relax! I love golf, although I fear I have left it too late to turn professional.
HR Director
Peter Howitt
I joined ADR Network in 1999 and worked my way up through the infancy of the business in various operational roles before being appointed to the Board in 2007. Now working as HR Director I enjoy embracing the key challenges we face in an ever-changing workforce planning environment.
Outside of work, I continue to wrestle with a reasonable golf handicap, and I’m kept on my toes with a young family!
Commercial Director
Sarah Joy
I worked alongside ADR Network in a previous role and was so impressed with the level of professionalism, knowledge, and fortitude within the team, I decided to join them 11 years ago.
As Commercial Director, I am responsible for managing a number of key client accounts as well as leading new business tenders. My job of keeping clients happy is made easy by our hardworking operational team that delivers great service day in day out.
My passion is horses, and outside of work, I dedicate most of my time (and money) to the upkeep of these glorious animals.
