HGV Driver Jobs in Haverhill

ADR Network are currently hiring Class 1 HGV Drivers for Co-op Cardinal depot in response to additional work being taken on.

We are looking for an additional 40 drivers to work on a rota, ideally any 5 from 7 days. Part-time and ad-hoc drivers are also welcome to apply as there is plenty of work available.

In order to attract the number of drivers needed we are able to offer a very attractive hourly rate of pay.

The work involves delivering to Co-op stores. Deliveries are made on cage lifts/tail lifts. Due to the delivery areas to be covered we are expecting more mileage and fewer trips than is normal for a Co-op driver.

Start times will typically be between 0400 – 0700 however we would require some flexibility in start times. We are also able to consider drivers outside of these times so please enquire with us to see if your ideal start time can be accommodated. Typically 9 hour days so for full time drivers you can expect to work a 45 hour week as a minimum.

You will be required to complete a driving assessment and you will then be paid for an induction/buddy day as required.

We require drivers to have some level of experience as there is a mixed fleet in operation at this site.

This work is ongoing until the end of June. After this time some of the work is transferring to a new depot in Wellingborough where you will be offered the opportunity of further work.
