This is desirable work, making store deliveries, trunking or containers.

Excellent working conditions at this new depot, where agency drivers are truly treated at one of the team.

Mainly Monday to Friday work, with odd weekend shifts available. We are recruiting for drivers for morning starts:

0400 – 0600 starts; Deliveries to Howdens Stores, with shift lengths averaging 12 hours.

Immediate starts, with regular, on-going work thought out the year.

In order to attract the number of drivers needed we are able to offer an attractive hourly rate of pay: Class 1 – from £13.30 basic, with PM and Weekend Enhancements increasing it to £16.25 per hour.

The work involves delivering to stores. Deliveries are made on cage lifts/tail lifts. We are looking for both AM and PM drivers and as the depot takes in more volume there will be an opportunity to look at regular shift/rota patterns for drivers that are able to work a regular weekend shift.

You will be required to complete a driving assessment and induction prior to your start date.

We require drivers to have some level of experience as there will be a mixed fleet in operation at this site, ideally one year as a minimum.
